-STOP GIVING A SHIT ABOUT LOOT. If you’re here for loot, you’re not here for the right reasons. Every single raider will become fully geared in a short time frame. Be patient.
-In depth knowledge of your main class, and working knowledge of multiple other classes as well.
-The ability to maintain up-to-date characters, including gear and other progression systems, on at least 2 or more characters (different classes).
-Being able to communicate effectively over voice communication. HAVE A MIC. Keep the BS to a minimum and focus on the fight at hand.
-Show up on time (that means when invites go out 15 minutes prior to raid start) and be there all night, even if you are sitting on specific bosses.
-Be able to listen to instructions and perform them as they are expected. Whether it be switching to a different target or standing in the right spot, you are expected to perform that raid function.
-Understanding of boss mechanics and capability of observing them mid-fight to build or improve upon boss strategies.
-Coming to raid prepared to wipe countless times for progression but demanding perfection of yourself on EVERY attempt.
-OWN your mistakes and learn from them. We all make mistakes, as it’s part of the learning process, but that’s no excuse for repeated failures.
-Active participation in improving the guild’s standard of raiding both inside and OUTSIDE of raid hours (farming for the guild, using professions -especially crafting- for the guild, boss research).
